Ron Kreutzer, Founder & President
WineWeb Enterprises, Inc.

The WineWeb was envisioned by Ron Kreutzer as he traveled among companies as a management consultant for Deloitte & Touche, one of the "Big Five" accounting and consulting firms. He saw an opportunity to leverage his expertise in information technology into an Internet service that would be appealing to wine enthusiasts and the wine industry.

Ron's career began as a mainframe programmer while attending college. Upon graduating from Fort Hays State University in Kansas with dual degrees in Accounting and Data Processing, and becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Ron joined Phillips Petroleum Co. as a computer programmer. "They had all the latest technologies available there," recalls Kreutzer. "I remember working with the Apple Lisa (predecessor to the Macintosh) and IBM's mainframe in a PC product."

Later, Ron would join Deloitte & Touche as a management consultant in the information technology practice and spend over nine years working up the ranks to the level of Senior Manager (one step below Partner). Working on projects that covered the entire systems development lifecycle, across varying technologies and in numerous industries, taught Ron how to apply business strategies and information technologies to a variety of companies and situations.

After deciding to get married, raise a family and settle in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Ron's next challenge brought him to Syntel, a global IT services firm. Spending over nine years with Syntel taught Ron how to effectively leverage a global workforce to provide technology services.

Today, Ron is totally focused on building WineWeb into a business that continues to serve the wine industry by providing cost-effective technology solutions.
